Brenda said that she made this quilt out of reproduction fabrics even though she hated reproductions, and she used up all the extra on the back (see below) so that she wouldn't have any left over. Then she realized that even though she still hated the individual fabrics, she loved the quilt, and she ended up having to go out and buy more fabric.

I received a box of 4" fabric squares that my grandmother had cut out before she died. I had the box for about ten years before I received Brenda's book Scraps Happen 3 in my goodie bag at Quilt Camp in the Pines 2008. When I saw this pattern, I knew instantly that I had found the perfect pattern to finish the quilt my grandmother had started so many years ago. Thanks to Brenda. Beautiful quilt!
