This quilt came from a bee I used to be active in - every month you make a block for another member of their choice. (Many of the blocks for my Faceted Jewels quilt came from this bee.) I remember that several people asked for blocks in this Chinese Lantern pattern, and I also remember that I was not particularly impressed with it at the time. But I really do like the results, here.
