Another summer quilt

The Maharajah's Garden (detail)

This quilt is from IQF 2005; I don't currently have the maker's name but I will see if I can find it. Anyway, don't you think this is nice & summery? It looks like heat.

Adding: "The Maharajah's Garden" was made by Jean Lohmar of Illinois; it was the 2nd place winner in the category Innovative Pieced, Large at the 2005 International Quilt Festival.

(And thanks to Judy H. for finding the maker's name!)

It looks like the kind of heat that made those pretty flowers, so you have to tolerate the heat to see the flowers.

This was made by Jean Lohmar of Galesburg, IL, according to the current Quilter's Newsletter Magazine. Lovely!
