Mom's quilt of the week
She was cutting out the fabric for this the last time I was there sewing (week before last), but I don't think she started it until this week. She's quilting on it now, but she's not finished yet.
(I don't remember where this pattern came from. As always, if you really want to know, say so in the comments and I'll try to remember to ask her!)

It's from Patchwork and Stitching, which is an Australian magazine - it didn't have a month on it but it was vol.4, no.3, and my mother had the idea that it was the June issue. The cover says "14 make-it-quick projects" and the pattern is called Hearts Full of Friends. It's in completely different colors in the magazine, and I also think it looks smaller than it really is - it's kind of a HUGE block. Which is not a bad thing, really!
