Not quite Halloween

This is one of my favorite not-quite-Halloween quilts. I don't think it's really meant as one, but all those spider webs SEEM really Halloween-ish, don't you think?

That quilt is stunning! Do you know if all the white was embroidered along the seam lines?

Melissa, the biggest version of my picture is here but it's still hard to be sure. My guess from looking at the big picture is that it was hand-embroidered - or maybe couched - with metallic thread, but it could be machine-done somehow. I don't remember any more from when I saw it in person, I'm afraid.
